Agreement

By creating an account or using PostBuild AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free preview users, one-time purchasers, and Ship Pro subscribers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using PostBuild AI, you represent that you meet these requirements.

What PostBuild AI provides

PostBuild AI is an AI-powered tool that generates app launch assets from text you provide — including store screenshots, ASO-optimised store copy, privacy policy templates, terms of service templates, landing pages, and press kit bundles. All generation is performed by AI models and the output is provided as a starting point, not a finished professional product.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Output generated by PostBuild AI — including legal documents, marketing copy, and store descriptions — is produced by AI models. It may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that is not suitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all generated content before use.

Legal document disclaimer

Privacy policies and terms of service generated by PostBuild AI are template documents based on your app profile. They are not legal advice and do not establish a lawyer-client relationship. PostBuild AI strongly recommends having all legal documents reviewed by a qualified legal professional before publishing.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, AI provider outages, or infrastructure issues may cause temporary downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance where possible.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login, magic link, or session with others. PostBuild AI is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.

One account per user

Each account is for a single individual or legal entity. You may not share an account across multiple people or organisations. If you need team access, contact us at hello@postbuildai.com.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service. Where possible we will provide notice before termination.

Plans

PostBuild AI offers a one-time Launch Kit ($49 per project) and Ship Pro subscriptions ($19/month or $149/year). Prices are in US dollars and subject to change with notice. The plan active at time of purchase governs your access.

Billing

All payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise Stripe to charge the applicable fees. Ship Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Cancellation

You may cancel a Ship Pro subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your access to hosted pages and Pro features continues until then.

Refunds

Launch Kit purchases are non-refundable once generation has been initiated. For Ship Pro subscriptions, we offer a pro-rata refund within 7 days of a new billing cycle if you have not used the service in that period. Contact hello@postbuildai.com for refund requests.

Taxes

Prices shown are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax). Stripe may add applicable taxes based on your billing location.

Your input

You retain full ownership of the text, files, and other content you provide to PostBuild AI (your README, PRD, app icon, etc.). By uploading content, you grant PostBuild AI a limited licence to process that content through our AI pipeline solely to generate your launch assets.

Generated output

Upon payment, you own the generated assets produced for your project (screenshots, copy, legal documents, landing page). You may use them for any lawful purpose including commercial use in your app stores and on the web.

PostBuild AI intellectual property

The PostBuild AI platform, including its software, design, templates, and branding, is owned by PostBuild AI. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell any part of the platform itself.

Acceptable use of generated content

You agree not to use generated content to deceive consumers, make false claims, infringe third-party intellectual property rights, or violate app store policies. You are responsible for ensuring generated store copy accurately reflects your app.

You must not

Use the Service to generate content for apps that are illegal, deceptive, or harmful; attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer our AI prompts or pipeline; create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits; use automated scripts to abuse the generation pipeline; or resell access to the Service without our written consent.

App store compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your app and its store listing comply with Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and any other platform's policies. PostBuild AI provides tools to help you create assets — it does not guarantee that generated content will be accepted by any app store.

Ship Pro hosted pages

Ship Pro subscribers can deploy generated pages (landing page, privacy policy, terms of service) to a public URL at postbuildai.com/s/[slug]. These pages remain live as long as your subscription is active. On cancellation, hosted pages become inaccessible after the billing period ends.

Custom domains

Ship Pro subscribers may connect a custom domain to their hosted pages. You are responsible for managing your domain's DNS settings. PostBuild AI is not liable for downtime caused by DNS misconfiguration.

No warranty

PostBuild AI is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs, or that the Service will meet any specific requirements.

Liability cap

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PostBuild AI's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid to PostBuild AI in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Consequential damages

PostBuild AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
